This weekend July 7 and 8, AMC will offer a season three-preview weekend of scripted drama sensation The Walking Dead. Scheduled one week before Comic-Con in San Diego, the two-day programming event will begin each day at 11:30 a.m. ET with a marathon of all 19 episodes from the first two seasons. Following the encore telecasts will be a Talking Dead live primetime special, hosted by Chris Hardwick, on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET. The event culminates with the television premiere of the black and white pilot episode of The Walking Dead pilot on Sunday at 10 p.m. ET.
Chris Hardwick will introduce each episode from the set of season three in Atlanta through the weekend, and will speak with cast members and producers during the breaks. Included will be behind-the-scenes footage. On Sunday, viewers will also get the chance to watch a clip from Season 3.
