ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL GORDON RAMSAY REALITY SERIES CONTINUES ON THE NETWORK
After just three weeks since its premiere, the Fox network confirmed on Friday, August 31st, there will be a second season of the new reality series, “Hotel Hell.”
“Hotel Hell” features famed chef and hospitality expert Gordon Ramsay traveling across the United States to fix and improve subpar to deplorable conditions at establishments like hotels, inns and bed and breakfasts.
Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment for the Fox Broadcasting Company. said, “With ‘Hotel Hell,’ Gordon has proved once again that he’s one of the most successful and appealing personalities on television,”
“Hotel Hell” is the fourth series currently on the Fox network to feature Ramsay, joining “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Kitchen Nightmares,” and “MasterChef.”
According to Nielsen Media Research, based solely on Live Plus Same Day data, “Hotel Hell” has averaged 5.32 million total viewers and an Adults 18-49 rating/share of 2.1/7 in its first four airings, with its most recent episode (on Monday, August 27th) drawing its largest ratings yet with an average of 5.90 million total viewers and a 2.4/7 rating and share in Adults 18-49. It has become the summer’s top new series among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Women 18-49, Women 25-54 and all key men demos. Also, “Hotel Hell” is among the Top 10 shows overall this summer among Adults 18-49.
“Hotel Hell” will conclude its first season on Monday, September 3rd on Fox with two back-to-back episodes, beginning at 8pm Eastern and Pacific.
The air dates and times for the second season of “Hotel Hell” have yet to be announced, but most likely it’ll be sometime in 2013.
