History Announces New Series “Cryptid: The Swamp Beast”

History will introduce a new reality series on Monday, Feb. 24 called “Cryptid: The Swamp Thing,” which will attempt to unravel the mystery of legendary prehistoric-like creature Bigfoot. The series, which will feature dramatizations, eyewitness accounts, real life reports and expert interviews, follows a small animal control business which starts responding to various calls and sightings, as well as a deputy sheriff who believes the real culprit is some twisted individual deep in the swamp. It airs at 10 p.m. ET.

“Cryptid: The Swamp Beast” is produced for History by MAK Pictures in association with Murky Water Productions. Mark Kadin and Will Ehbrecht are executive producers for MAK. Mike Stiller and Brian Meere are executive producers for History.
