I’M NOT DEAD YET AND BROTHERS-IN-LAW ARE THE NEXT PROPOSED PROJECTS

TV Land, the growing home of original sitcoms with a nostalgic feel, has ordered what it refers to as cast-contingent pilots for proposed sitcoms I’m Not Dead Yet and Brothers-in-Law. I’m Not Dead Yet is a single-camera comedy about a man who decides to start speaking his mind after he finds out he has a rare heart condition. It comes from Ben Silverman-owned studio Electus and is adapted from the DBS produced Israeli format Zanzuri. And Brothers-in-Law revolves around the family dynamic between a husband and the eccentric fiancé of his wife’s twin sister. The men have nothing in common, but the sisters constantly force them to bond. Brothers-in-Law is written and executive produced by Bill Martin and Mike Schiff (3rd Rock From The Sun), who also serve as showrunners.

TV Land, at present, is home to comedies Hot in Cleveland, Happily Divorced, The Exes, Retired at 35 and upcoming The Soul Man with Cedric “the Entertainer” and Niecy Nash.
