One Life to Live Marathon on SOAPnet

December 20, 2011 by marcberman in Newsletter with 1 Comment

Veteran ABC daytime drama One Life to Live will sign-off for good, of course, on Friday, Jan.13, with new lifestyle themed talker The Revolution stepping into the time period the following Monday.  To pay homage to this scripted institution, SOAPnet will feature memorable episodes of One Life to Live in an all-day marathon on New Year’s Day.  It begins on Sunday, January 1 at 10 a.m. ET and airs for 14 consecutive hours.  First up: Karen Wolek (Judith Light) stuns everyone by admitting that she was a prostitute while on the witness stand in an episode telecast on March 6, 1979.

Plans to keep One Life to Live alive online via distributor Prospect Park never surfaced, unfortunately.
