SUMMER PRESS TOUR
-That’s a Wrap
It came and went. Fifteen days chock full of series sessions, executive conversations and gatherings at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles where direct access to the stars and the behind the scenes forces was constant. There were many highlights: The Downton Abbey session at PBS; Nina Tassler at CBS walking out with a stuffed monkey mocking scene stealer Crystal at NBC; HBO sessions with Tippi Hedren talking about Alfred Hitchcock and Ethel and Rory Kennedy; and the wives of military men for new docu-series, Married to the Army: Alaska on OWN. And there were some bizarre appearances like Sarah Palin at the NBC poolside gathering for hubby Todd’s new reality series Stars Earn Stripes and daughter Bristol angrily defending herself at a session for the upcoming celebrity edition of Dancing With the Stars at ABC.

Happy Birthday, Lucy
In honor of the legendary Lucille Ball, who would have turned 101 today, here is a question from Michael Stern (www.TheLucyFan.com), author of must-read book “I Had a Ball: My Friendship with Lucille Ball.” If you add up Lucy’s children from all her TV series, how many would there be?
The answer to the last trivia question was…
Where exactly in California did Laverne and Shirley move to when the classic sitcom officially “jumped the shark”?
e) San Jose
…a) Burbank. Once the whole gang moved to sunny California, the once laugh-out-loud comedy officially “jumped the shark.”
The list of Trivia All-Stars will return tomorrow.
