SECOND EPISODE DIPS BY 19 PERCENT IN TODAY VIEWERS
Sitcom Sullivan & Son debuted on TBS Thursday with 2.5 million viewers in the 10 p.m. half-hour, according to Nielsen, which ranked an uneventful 10th overall among all-ad supported series in primetime on July 19. First for the evening was Burn Notice on USA at 4.97 million, followed by Suits on USA (3.72 million), Mountain Men on History (3.39 million), NCIS on USA (3.46 million), The O’Reilly Factor on Fox News Channel (3.05 million), a 9:30 p.m. edition of The Big Bang Theory on TBS (2.82 million), which led into Sullivan & Son, A.N.T. Farm (2.73 million) and Gravity Falls on Disney (2.70 million), and FX’s Anger Management (2.65 million), which picked up minor steam week to week.
Among adults 18-49, Sullivan & Son, headlined by comedian Steve Byrne, averaged 1.26 million viewers, which placed it seventh overall for the night in the demo. A second episode of Sullivan & Son dipped to 2.03 million viewers and 1.04 million adults 18-49 at 10:30 p.m.
