Solid Return for “Falling Skies” on TNT

June 10, 2013 by Marc Berman in Highlights with 0 Comments

TNT drama “Falling Skies,” headlined by former “ER” star Noah Wyle, returned on Sunday with 4.2 million viewers for its two-hour season opener. Results among 18-49 (1.9 million) and adults 25-54 (2.1 million) were close to year-ago levels, while 772,000 viewers in the adult 18-34 demo for “Falling Skies” was 24 percent above last year’s season premiere. And the projected median age, 47, was two years younger than last summer’s premiere.

Comparably, “Falling Skies” now ranks among basic cable’s top five scripted series season premiere this year to-date in total viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
