-Ratings Breakdown:
The annual airing of 1956 theatrical classic The Ten Commandments led ABC to Saturday victory, with 6.90 million viewers and a 1.6 rating/5 share among adults 18-49 from 8-11 p.m., according to Nielsen. Comparably, that bested the No. 2 network (CBS in total viewers, Fox in adults 18-49) by 3.16 million viewers and 0.7 rating points in the demo. And it was virtually identical to the 7.06 million viewers and 1.6/ 5 it scored in the demo on the year-ago evening. In week two news, reality competition Escape Routes on NBC finished last in the 8 p.m. hour, with an embarrassing 1.17 million viewers and a 0.3/ 1 in the demo at 8 p.m. (which was actually a slight improvement from the 1.09 million viewers and a 0.2/ 1 in the demo for its debut one week earlier, according to the Live Plus Same Day results). By putting Escape Routes on Saturday, you knew NBC had no faith in this series.

Next on NBC were repeats of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers (Viewers: #4, 2.72 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.7/ 2), the pilot episode of BFF (Viewers: #4, 1.60 million; A18-49: #4, 0.4/ 1) and Law & Order: SVU (Viewers: #3, 2.93 million; A18-49: #4, 0.7/ 2) from 9-11 p.m.

CBS filled this first Saturday in April with repeats of How I Met Your Mother (Viewers: #3, 2.03 million; A18-49: #4, 0.3/ 1), Mike & Molly (Viewers: #3, 2.50 million; A18-49: #3, 0.5/ 2) and NCIS (Viewers: #2, 4.04 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.8/ 3) from 8-10 p.m., followed by veteran 48 Hours Mystery at 4.90 million viewers (#2) and a 1.1/ 4 (#2) at 10 p.m. And Fox aired two episodes of Cops (original and repeat – Viewers: #2, avg. 3.29 million; A18-49: #2, avg. 1.0 4 from 8-9 p.m.) and an encore telecast of recently renewed Bones (Viewers: #3, 2.76 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.8/ 3).

Not surprising, considering how popular that movie is during the Easter holidays.
